In early 2011, Glenn retired from a 24-year career with State Farm Insurance and has formed By the Book Financial Planning, LLC to utilize his gifts and talents in areas of finance.

Glenn serves the Christian community of northern Illinois by equipping believers to develop financial margins through Biblical stewardship principles. Individuals and families who have once developed such margins are candidates for a type of counselling aimed at expanding their financial contentment levels and influence for the Kingdom of God. Ultimately, those who have these financial goals will experience the joy of generous living.

This expanded "giving capacity" along with any profits generated by Glenn's counselling advice will allow for greater investment into God's Kingdom. This is the mission of his organization. His firm will work pro-bono and on an hourly/fee-based "sliding scale."
